There is an alert about power generation across the Midwest today.
MISO, the Midcontinent Independent System Operators, issued the alert yesterday ahead of today’s scorching temperatures and predicted storms. MISO says ‘forced generation outages,’ along with high temperatures and congestion on the grid could all cause problems. MISO covers all or parts of 15 states, including Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, and Michigan.
