Rock County’s 1995 John Doe is really named Carl Isaacs, Junior. T
he sheriff in Janesville yesterday said investigators were able to ID him by using a DNA database. The sheriff is not saying how Isaacs died. He was found in a remote wooded area along Turtle Creek in Clinton in November of ’95. The sheriff says Isaacs walked away from the Walworth County jail in April of that year. Investigators now want to find out more about Isaacs, and try and bring some closure to the case.
