Eau Claire’s downtown movie theater is changing things up for the summer.
Managers at the Micon Cinema say they will switch to new movies for the summer. GM Dan Olson says they will make the switch with the premier of the new Top Gun movie next week. He says with people returning downtown, they want to try and offer people another choice.
The downtown theater had been running older and familiar movies, but Olson says times have changed.
