Barron County appears to be the center of Wisconsin’s bird flu outbreak.
The state’s Department of Agriculture on Friday said a fifth farm in Barron County tested positive for the flu. That brings Barron County’s bird flu total to six cases, and over 245 thousand birds put down. Barron County has the most confirmed bird flu cases of anywhere in the state.
