WI Holds Exotic Pet Surrender

Dozens of exotic animals were rounded up Saturday at a pet event in Monona.

The Aldo Leopold Nature Center held an Exotic Pet Surrender Event yesterday, and called on Wisconsinites to turn in their unwanted exotic animals instead of releasing them into the wild.  The organization says it collected 54 animals, including lizards, marsupials and a flying squirrel.  All animals surrendered at the event will be put up for adoption.
