The city of Waukesha is going to invest in some high-tech barriers to make sure it avoids another tragedy such as last year’s Christmas parade.
City officials say the barriers they’re going to buy — called modular vehicle barriers — can stop vehicles and be linked together to cover wide spaces. Waukesha plans to purchase the high-tech barriers at a cost of 800-thousand dollars.
