Officials in Medford say the success of their Parkfest concert last summer has led to plans for a permanent bandshell in the city park.
Members of the city’s Bandshell Committee laid out those plans before the city council this week. The group says it’s looking at placing the bandshell on the north side of the park along the edge of the current gravel parking lot. Meanwhile, organizers say they’re close to confirming a headline act for this year’s Parkfest.
