Police say an Eau Claire man is in custody on charges he resisted arrest and fled from police this past weekend.
The suspect is identified as 20-year-old Hunter Scheuermann. Police say they clocked him going 17 miles an hour over the speed limit when they began pursuit on Sunday and eventually reached speeds exceeding 90 miles an hour. He has also been charged with displaying a false license plate and operating while his license is suspended.
