A crash leaves one dead and two injured.
It was at 6:20 PM on Saturday February 26, 2022 when a crash occurred on US 2 EB/WB at West of Birch Hill Road in ASHLAND County near ASHLAND.
Authorities report that a 2014 black Dodge Dart entered STH 2 from a residential driveway west of Birch Hill Road. This put the Dart in the path of a westbound 2018 white Chevrolet Equinox. The Equinox collided with the Dart and an eastbound 2007 black GMC Sierra.
The 37- year-old female driver of the Equinox was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver
and passenger in the Sierra were both transported by EMS with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is conducting the crash investigation and crash reconstruction.
