An Eau Claire man is looking at a possible five year sentence for last Thanksgiving’s deadly stabbing.
Kelly Weiberg pleaded guilty yesterday to an amended felony count of homicide by negligent handling of a dangerous weapon. Police say he was drunk when he stabbed another man on Thanksgiving Day. Weiberg says he stabbed the man because the other guy punched him in the face. Weiberg is looking at five years in prison when he’s sentenced in August.
