Eau Claire’s latest homeless count finds more people living on the streets.
Western Dairyland, one of the groups in charge of the count in Eau Claire, says teams found 26 people who don’t have homes in the city. The last time Eau Claire counted, in January of 2020 they found nine homeless people.
Eau Claire’s homeless count will be used for policy decisions, as well as possible funding from the state or federal governments.
