Some Look to Shift Classes Online

Some students and teaching assistants at UW-Madison want more online classes because of the coronavirus.

Yesterday was the first day of classes for students, and the Teaching Assistant Association and the Association of Students in Madison both want classes moved online.  The two groups signed a letter to the university asking for more hybrid learning opportunities.  The two say they are worried about catching the coronavirus.

The university said there are already plenty of opportunities for students to take classes online, and the school has a robust safety plan.
