Wisconsin’s ban on teaching certain racial issues is on its way to Governor Tony Evers’ desk.
The Wisconsin Senate approved the plan yesterday. Republican lawmakers say they have no problem with teaching about America’s racial history, they just don’t want to teach racism. Democrats and a number of education advocates say Republicans are simply afraid of Critical Race Theory. The governor is expected to veto the plan.
