Dozens Rescued From Ice in Green Bay

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office says they rescued about 30 fishermen from a runaway chunk of ice in the bay of Green Bay Saturday morning.

No one was hurt, but rescuers say the chunk of ice was starting to break apart as they were pulling people off of it. Eventually, deputies say, the piece of ice ended-up a mile off shore. Crews in Brown County called-out the Department of Natural Resources and the Coast Guard to help with the rescue.
