Feds Call FBI Informant In Whitmer Case “Double Agent”

Federal prosecutors are claiming one of the FBI informants used to report on the alleged plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was a “double agent.”

Stephen Robeson of Wisconsin allegedly tried to obstruct the 2020 arrests of six men accused in the kidnap plot.  He also reportedly offered to use charity money to buy weapons and the use of a drone in the plot.  Prosecutors are trying to prevent Robeson’s statements from being read to jurors in the upcoming trial.  The filing by prosecutors confirms reporting by the “Detroit News” concerning Robeson’s background.
