“Covid-19 Pills” in Short Supply for WI

It’s going to be a little bit before Wisconsin gets some of the new pills to treat the coronavirus.

The state’s Department of Health Services last week said supplies of Pfizer and Merck’s new medication are limited, and will be sent to ‘the most vulnerable and hard-hit communities’ first. DHS says, in the meantime, people need to continue to get vaccinated and get boosted. DHS Deputy Secretary Deb Standridge says that’s the best way to protect yourself from the virus.
