Authorities in Hobart say a man involved in a standoff with police following a domestic incident is dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Hobart police were called to an apartment on Centerline Drive for domestic disturbance yesterday. A woman who said she was threatened by her boyfriend was able to escape after he fired a shot in the apartment. A long standoff ensued with the police and after hours of no contact police used a drone and found the man shot outside the building.
