First Lady Pays Respects, Waukesha Band Plays Again

The first lady has paid her respects to the people killed and injured in the Waukesha Christmas Parade attack.

Jill Biden laid a bouquet of flowers at the memorial yesterday. She was in town to visit parade survivors at Children’s Hospital. Mrs. The first lady is the first person from her husband’s administration to visit the site where six people died and more than 50 others were run down late last month. She said that all Americans mourn with Waukesha.

It’s another sign of a return to normal in Waukesha.

The Waukesha South High School band played a concert last night. It’s the first time the band has played since several members were seriously hurt in the attack on the city’s Christmas Parade late last month. Band alumni filled-in for any injured students last night. Band members say it’s good to play again, and it was good to be together once again.
