An equipment violation leads to an arrest in Dunn County.
26 year old Alexa Christopher, from North Saint Paul, MN has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 1st offense, with one child in the vehicle under the age of 16.
On 12/12/21 at approximately 5:30 PM a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper stopped a vehicle on I94 at milepost 54 for an equipment violation. Upon approach, the Trooper detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
The driver, Alexa Christopher, from North Saint Paul was field-tested and subsequently arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence and possession of marijuana. Passengers in the vehicle included a 2-year-old.
