Kyle Rittenhouse’s jury will try for a verdict once again today.
The jury of five men and seven women worked until about 5:30 yesterday before heading home for the day. The jury asked just two questions, both were requests for the jury instructions. The jury will get back to work again this morning. They are weighing homicide charges against Rittenhouse. Prosecutors say he escalated Kenosha’s night of violence last year by bringing a gun to town. Rittenhouse’s lawyers say he killed two people and wounded a third in self defense, and only after being attacked first.
