Kyle Rittenhouse’s case will go to the jury next week. There are no more witnesses to be called in the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports.
The defense rested yesterday, and the judge in the case pushed closing arguments back until Monday. One of Rittenhouse’s final witnesses was a defense use-of-force expert who told the jury about just how quickly everything happened on that violent night in August of 2020.
The expert said all three shootings, and the attack on Rittenhouse took less than a minute-and-a-half. Rittenhouse’s lawyers continue to say he fired in self defense.
