WI Sees Shots Dip

Far fewer people in Wisconsin got the coronavirus shot last week.

The latest numbers from the state’s Department of Health Services show doctors and nurses handed-out just 15 thousand-doses last week. That’s down from about 27 thousand-doses last week and the week before. The last time Wisconsin saw so few doses handed-out was the first week that vaccines were available back in December of last year.

When it comes to the younger population, there’s no word on just how many younger kids have gotten their coronavirus shot in Wisconsin.

The state’s Department of Health Services announced the shots were available starting last week. But there’s no data on the state’s website about kids between five and 11-years-old. DHS stops tracking vaccine doses at 12-years-old. The state’s official vaccinated-count stops at 18-years-old. CLICK HERE FOR MORE FROM WI DHS.
