Wisconsin’s drug take-back day proves to be the largest in the country.
The state had 300 collection sites reporting the amount of unused and unwanted medications that were turned in on October 23rd. Over 57-thousand-pounds of unused medications were collected statewide. If you were unable to participate in drug take-back day, many pharmacies have drop boxes available all year long as do most police stations.
