On September 24, 2021, a Coleman man claimed a $1 million top prize from the Ultimate Millions scratch game after purchasing his winning ticket from the Cougar Shell, 200 Sunset Ave, in Coleman.
According to Wisconsin-demographics.com and based on recent United States Census Bureau data, Coleman’s population is 726, ranking as the 430th most populated city in Wisconsin. After learning of the million-dollar winner, owner Kurt Boulanger, happily said, “I’m glad it was a local person in our small community that won.”
