Governor Tony Evers granted 71 pardons Tuesday.
Many of those were drug charges against people who have spent years rehabilitating their lives. Others were teenagers when they committed crimes like stealing video games and joy riding. Some of those pardoned today are now business owners and most have families.
The 71 pardons bring the total number the pardons granted by Governor Evers in his first term to 263.
