Inactive Voters Checked Off

Hundreds of thousands of people who have not voted in years in Wisconsin are being moved on the inactive voter list. The Wisconsin Elections Commission yesterday announced it has deactivated 205-thousand voters.

Most did not respond to a postcard asking if they still wanted to vote, while others simply moved. While the voters are now on the inactive list, they will remain on Wisconsin’s voting rolls. State Rep. Janel Brandtjen, who is leading an elections investigation in the Assembly, questions whether it is wise to leave so many people on the list. Wisconsin’s voter rolls have over seven-million names in-all. Election managers say anyone on the inactive list hasn’t voted in at least four years and would have to re-register to vote again. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO.
