An AMBER Alert is in effect for a baby boy in need of life-saving medication.
Authorities in Wisconsin Rapids say the baby is believed to be with his mother, Haley Pelot, who led police on a chase yesterday as they were investigating a report of child neglect. Officers stopped the pursuit to avoid any injury to the infant. The baby requires medication, and police are not certain that the mother has it. Police have released photos of both the mother and two-month-old Dorian Giesen.
They are looking for a 2002 Toyota Camry with a black front bumper and Wisconsin license plates A-H-Y-5-3-4-5.
