More than 700 new boulevard trees are being planted in Eau Claire.
The City parks, recreation, and forestry department is planting the trees as part of a public improvement project and rebate program for residents. The City says any resident who wants a tree planted can get a 60-dollar rebate per tree. The City is responsible for treating and maintaining the new trees.
