A little girl taken from a deadly house fire in Fort Atkinson on Friday has been found, and there has been an arrest, but there are a lot of questions that remain to be answered in the case.
Firefighters say the fire, which started Friday morning, is suspicious. A man was found dead inside the home. It’s not clear if he died in the fire or was killed beforehand. Police put out an Amber Alert for two-year-old Emma Schoonover, and they say a woman took her from the fire scene on Friday. Police found Emma Saturday morning. Fort Atkinson Police say someone was arrested in connection to the fire, but they are not saying who. Investigators with the state’s Department of Justice are helping with the case.
