A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a deer near the Town of Hale.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office says 74-year-old Gary Heath was thrown from the bike into a ditch and suffered serious injuries. Heath was flown to a hospital where he died. Police say he wasn’t wearing a helmet.
