Nine jurors are now set to hear the case against former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin.
He’s the one seen on video last year holding George Floyd down until he stopped breathing. Jury selection began last week with opening statements set for March 29th, but Chauvin’s attorney wants the trial delayed. He feels news of the recent 27-million-dollar settlement with the Floyd family could impact the jurors already chosen and potential jurors.
