WI Could See Billions in Federal Relief

The state of Wisconsin could see just over three-billion-dollars, and cities and counties across the state could see another two-billion in the latest coronavirus relief plan from Congress.

The proposal is now in the U.S. Senate and could pass with only Democratic support. Milwaukee could see over 400-million-dollars from the plan. Mayor Tom Barrett says that’s money that could pay for everything from public health to roads. Republicans in both Washington D.C. and Wisconsin say the plan is too expensive and doesn’t target relief to where it’s needed most.
