Governor Tony Evers is sharing a message with Wisconsin’s transgender kids.
The governor tweeted his message today after a bill banning transgender athletes from participating in girls and women’s sports was introduced by Republicans in the legislature. In response, the governor told transgender young people that he sees them, they are welcome, they are wanted and they belong. If it’s passed Governor Evers is expected to veto the bill.
