A La Crosse man with a lengthy criminal history is in jail after police say he punched an elderly man over wearing a face mask.
The D.A. in La Crosse says video shows 40-year-old Danny Link throw a haymaker at an older man outside of local Walgreens on Saturday. The older man says he asked Link to wear a face mask in the store. Link has 15 open cases in La Crosse County, and he’s currently being held on 25-hundred dollars bond.
