WI Ramps Up Vaccinations

WI Ramps Up Vaccinations

State health officials are reporting that the state has administered at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine to one-third of Wisconsinites 65 and older.

That’s about 300-thousand people from that age group and as of yesterday morning, Wisconsin is ranked 10th nationally in the percentage of people who have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

Governor Tony Evers hopes to ramp up vaccinations even more as he announced the state’s first community-based COVID vaccine clinic yesterday, which will start in Rock County on February 16th. The Rock County site will vaccinate about 250 people per day and six to ten more sites will be opened throughout the state as needed.
