39 year old Jason Wade Newman, from Burknurnett, Texas has been arrested in Dunn County for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 5th offense.
It was on Monday, February 8th at approximately 8:05pm, when the Wisconsin State Patrol took a report of a vehicle traveling eastbound on I-94 near Baldwin, that was swerving all over the road and had no tail lights on.
Troopers were able to locate and stop the vehicle west of Menomonie, near CTH Q.
A subsequent investigation including standardized field sobriety test was conducted. Mr. Newman was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant 5th offense. A warrant was obtained for an evidentiary blood test and Mr. Newman was incarcerated in the Dunn County Jail.
