A man picked up a 6th OWI over the weekend.
It was on Sunday, November 8th, approximately 5:45 pm., when a vehicle traveling south on 18th Street west of Rice Lake, left the roadway and struck tree. A Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper responded to the scene shortly
thereafter to assist. A subsequent investigation including standard field sobriety tests were conducted.
The driver, 59 year old Jack G Kurschinsky, from Barron, was arrested for operating while under the influence of an intoxicant 6thoffense.
