The weather is definitely turning in Wisconsin this week.
The National Weather Service says parts of western Wisconsin could see one to three inches of snow tomorrow. Eau Claire is right on the line. Folks to the north have a better chance of seeing more snow. After the snow, it will remain cool in the Chippewa Valley with highs in the 30s and 40s all week.
The winter will not only bring cold and snow, it could bring an end to some downtown Eau Claire businesses. Many places to eat have been able to rely on outdoor seating since the spring, but that may not be an option going forward.
Wisconsin’s Restaurant Association has warned for months that many local restaurants cannot survive without some help or a break from the coronavirus.
