The Eau Claire Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the residence at 3120 Venus Avenue.
When fire crews arrived all residents were out of the building, with fire was coming from the second floor windows. Fire crews made an aggressive attack on the fire and contain the fire damage to the second floor and attic with smoke and water damage throughout the entire home. The fire remains under investigation and the loss is estimated at $85,000. The was no report of injuries and crews were able to rescue a cat from the fire.
