Gray Wolf Removed from Endangered Species List

The Department of the Interior yesterday said it is removing the gray wolf from the endangered species list. Regulators placed the wolf on the list years ago to protect dwindling numbers, but packs have rebounded since. The federal government says states will now be in charge of managing their wolf populations.
