It won’t be anything like originally planned but the Democratic National Convention is going on with the show.
The convention was to be held in Milwaukee but the coronavirus changed all those plans to virtual appearances. Former First Lady Michelle Obama will headline tonight’s opening lineup which includes New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Senators Amy Klobuchar and Bernie Sanders and Wisconsin Representative Gwen Moore.
The convention continues through Thursday night when Joe Biden is scheduled to accept the Democratic presidential nomination.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says he’ll speak about the COVID-19 pandemic during his speech tonight at the Democratic National Convention. James Flippin has more.
