UW SUPPORTS INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS STAYING IN U.S.

The head of the University of Wisconsin is lending his support to a lawsuit aimed at keeping foreign students inside the U.S. Tommy Thompson yesterday said the lawsuit, which Wisconsin joined, would spare international students from having to go home if they are not taking in-person classes.

UW is planning for in-person classes this fall, but online classes after Thanksgiving. The question about international students is not just about learning. International students paid 161 million-dollars in tuition at UW Madison alone last year. FOR MORE DETAILS ON INDIVIDUAL UW CAMPUSES, CLICK HERE.
