The state reports fewer than 500 new cases of the coronavirus today, but the number of patients in hospitals rises.
Nineteen more people were admitted yesterday bringing the current number of hospitalized patients to 283. There were no new deaths reported today so that toll remains at 820. The are nearly 37, 000 COVID-19 cases confirmed in the state.
