A medical incident may have contributed to a deadly accident in Baroon County.
On Saturday July 4, just after 10:30 at night the Barron County Sheriff’s Department received a call of a vehicle that went off the road on SS just north of Chetek. Deputies located a female, 49 year old Tamara Staves, from Cameron. She was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Mayo Hospital in Barron where she passed away. Initial investigation shows a possible medical issue may have occurred prior to the crash.
