FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH IN WILSON

A crash turns fatal in Wilson.

It was a little after 2 in the afternoon on Wednesday, July 1st when crews were dispatched to the intersection of CTH H and Henneman Rd, Township of Wilson, to investigate a motorcycle vs. SUV crash.

Early investigation revealed that a motorcycle, being operated by 26-year-old Fairchild man, was traveling northbound on CTH H, just north of Forest road #1. A southbound Chevrolet Tahoe, being operated by an 18-year-old Thorp man, was slowing, and beginning to negotiate a left-hand turn, off southbound CTH H, onto Henneman Rd. The northbound motorcycle struck the Chevrolet Tahoe as its operator was negotiating the turn.

The motorcycle operator was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained fatal injuries, as a result of the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
