The calls to defund the police in Madison are now coming at the front door of the city’s mayor.
Dozens of people marched to Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway’s home yesterday to demand she cut the city’s police budget. They want a 50 percent cut.
The protesters are still angry at the mayor for her words of support for city police during the worst of Madison’s protests that turned into riots.
