The number of people infected with the coronavirus in Wisconsin is continuing to grow.
The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday confirmed 24-hundred cases, but local health departments last night added about a thousand cases to that total. Right now, more than 25-hundred people have been confirmed to have the coronavirus. Public health managers say 85 people have died from the virus.
Another 26-thousand have been tested and cleared.
Here locally, that upward trend continues as well. The latest count yesterday shows 21 people infected in Eau Claire County, 16 people infected in Chippewa County, and five people infected in Dunn County. Overall in Wisconsin, just over 25 hundred people have been confirmed to have the virus. There are 85 coronavirus deaths.
