A local grocer is putting up barriers to protect employees and customers from the spread of COVID-19.
Woodman’s Market in Altoona put up plexiglass shields at each checkout station that cashiers clean every 30-minutes.
Woodman’s also created a single-file checkout line and suspended the use of reusable bags. The grocer says cleaning crews are deep-cleaning and sanitizing the store.
