DATCAP RESPONDS TO PRICE GOUGING COMPANIES

The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection says it has contacted over a dozen companies in Wisconsin regarding price gouging complaints. 

The agency said today cease and desist letters were sent to companies including Walmart, Walgreens and Menards.  The agency says it’s received dozens of complaints across the state.  The most popular overpriced items include toilet paper, bleach, household cleaners, surgical masks, milk and water.
