Eau Claire firefighters and rescue crews are investigating a car found in the Chippewa River.
Firefighters responded after someone found a car in the river early this morning. Firefighters say they found the car at the bottom of the river near the Water Street Bridge. Officials say it’s unclear how the vehicle went into the river and if anyone was inside the car.
